Travel & Stay

Flights

It means the world to us to have you join us in Ireland for our day! We also know it means traveling the world for many of you.

Our recommendation is to depart on Wednesday night to arrive Thursday. For nonstop flights, Aer Lingus (Ireland’s flagship carrier and hopeful wedding sponsor) should have a variety of itineraries for you to choose from.

We have linked some flight searches from some of your hometowns based on different departure and return dates.

Limited vacation time and flying from the east coast? Departing Thursday night and arriving Friday morning will leave you with time to attend our wedding. The venue is only a 20-minute drive from Dublin Airport.

Looking for an extended stay? Please feel free to extend your trip to explore the beautiful country of Ireland. Check out our recommendations. If necessary, you can book your return flight from Shannon Airport (SNN).

Important information on passports & visas

Please remember that all those traveling to Dublin need a valid passport, including children. Be sure to check the expiration date on your passport in advance of travel. If your passport is expiring within 6 months of your anticipated travel, it may be time to renew, as some airlines may not let you board your flight to Europe. Visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html for more information on obtaining or renewing a passport. Keep in mind, that average processing time for routine applications is 6 to 8 weeks.

You may have heard about the European Union’s new ETIAS program requiring travelers entering the EU to obtain travel authorization in advance. The program is now expected to go into place in 2026, so we do not anticipate any additional visa requirements for our wedding date.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
