FAQs

Can I RSVP online, or RSVP early?
Yes and yes. We would love for you to tell us your plans as soon as you are comfortable doing so, and our online RSVP form is a convenient way for you to let us know you can (or cannot) make it. Of course, our wedding invitations will include a reminder to RSVP and means to do so, as well.
Please be sure to RSVP no later than August 15th, 2025.

Is this an adults only event?
Our wedding is an adults only event. We love your children and understand traveling without them can be difficult. We have contacted local babysitting services - please reach out to us if you have any questions.
-
What should I wear?
Our wedding and reception will be a black-tie event. You’ll feel like proper kings and queens roaming around Luttrellstown Castle. For men, we recommend a black tuxedo or black suit. A floor-length dress is recommended for women.
-
What are your wedding colors?
People have been asking!
Our colors are dark green, gold, and white.
-
Will your wedding be outside?
While we hope to have our wedding ceremony on the beautiful lawn outside the castle, we’re also at the mercy of the (in)famous Irish weather. If we can stay dry, we’ll do our best to be on the lawn for the ceremony. Our reception will be indoors.
Ladies - you may be walking in grass!
-
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Our ceremony is at 4:30 and we plan to begin our processional at that time. Please arrive with enough time to get seated and comfortable.
-
Do you need an extra photographer?
We would love to see all of your photos of our day - please send them to us!
We would also appreciate it if you left your phone off during our ceremony to allow our professional photographer to do her best work. We promise we will pose for you as well!
-
Can you suggest things to do while I'm in Dublin?
Check out our recommendations for activities and things to do in and around Dublin. Planning to stay a little longer after our wedding? This is a great place to find ideas for your extended trip.

How do I charge my phone in Europe?
Ireland uses Type G plugs. You can find adapters at the airport, but can save yourself some money by purchasing one online. Just search "Type G Adapter" on Amazon or your favorite eCommerce site!
If you have a favorite hair dryer, curling iron, or straightener, please be aware that many European outlets output twice the wattage/voltage of U.S. outlets, which may harm the device. Check if your device supports dual voltage. If not, consider purchasing a voltage converter or using the hair dryer provided by your hotel.
